Melissa Oerbach is a Registered Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health, working in various mental health agencies and private practice settings.
I received my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from The Adler School of Professional Psychology and I am currently registered with The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my work, specifically working with children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. I provide individual, couples, and family counseling services, supporting clients with their struggles, and striving to show them their strengths and resiliencies they all bring to their lives.
I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting challenges, trauma, domestic violence, and separation/divorce related challenges. I draw on a range of modalities in my practice, specifically using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Client Centered Therapy.
You are the experts in your life and I am here to listen, guide, process, and support you in your journey.
